VP of Merchandising- Boys Apparel

Responsibilities
The Merchandiser will be responsible for the complete management and design of the boys division.
Establish the product vision and build the global merchandising line plan.
Lead calendar adherence for deliverables and cross functional critical deadlines.
Bring customer and market prospective to the design and product development process.
Must thoroughly understands the brand's target customer by shopping stores and understanding the market
Ensure the successful implementation of merchandising strategies by providing direction to design and working closely with technical teams on execution of the product.
Collaborate with and lead design to identify trends, confirm product and assortment details and facilitate product direction.
Will work with buyers directly to strategize and manage the business. 
Work with sourcing partners to execute product development needs, track samples, review protos and establish / meet pricing targets.
Manage accounts seasonal projections for upfronts and potential in season needs
Will manage gross margin, sales, inventory new business opportunities.
Skills:
Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities.
Confident and strong understanding of the boys apparel business.
Strong product sense with proven experience in driving product assortments and partnering with Design to conceive product concepts that drive business.
Strong problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.
High level of analytical skills and conceptual creative ability.
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
Experience: At least 4 years of merchandising experience in boys
