Your role as the Commerce Sales Supervisor is to help develop your team to ensure that they successfully connect with prospective and current GoDaddy customers via outbound calls and field inbound calls who are currently processing a high volume of payments through another provider. As a commerce sales supervisor, you will coach, educate, and develop your guides to have conversations with merchants on the many services now offered by GoDaddy, including but not limited to Payments, Social, SEO, and Website Design. Your focus is to ensure that your sales guides can deliver on their sales goals monthly along with identifying best practices for the department

What you'll get to do...

  • Mentor and develop your team to consistently achieve their goals within a constantly evolving sales environment with guides who are contacting prospective small business customers and existing GoDaddy customers via phone (Outbound and Inbound Sales calls) and via email to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales skills of your team of guides who are consulting with customers about their business needs by matching GoDaddy products and/or solutions to their commerce goals, while identifying existing pain points to determine how GoDaddy’s platform could address those needs.
  • Lead daily huddles and weekly team meetings to effectively communicate purpose, goals, performance trends and celebrated successes along with the voice of the customer to all levels of Care leadership
  • Build trust, interact, and communicate effectively with various levels of the organization, while building a strong team environment.
  • Ensure your team exceeds sales metrics that could include but are not limited to outbound dials, gross payment volume, and Net Promoter Score.
  • A leader who can demonstrate ownership for issues pertaining to customer service questions, including by researching and providing solutions for issues of moderate complexity.

 

Your experience should include...

  • Experience working at a Payments company or owning and/or operating a small and/or midsize business (SMB)/ extensive knowledge of internet technology.
  • 3+ years’ leading an Outbound/Inbound sales team with call campaign experience and a proven record of understanding customer needs in a commission, bonus, and/or metrics-driven environment
  • Ability to meet sales quotas for your team while they are providing a great customer experience throughout entire sales cycle.
  • A self-driven and dedicated leader, disciplined work ethic and motivation to drive revenue growth, while creating long term customer relationships.
  • Dynamic sales coaching experience that understands the sales cycle of a hunter personality and ability to build a strong pipeline.
  • Self-starter and comfortable driving performance in an evolving environment. Being flexible to work in an everchanging environment.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive, multi-task, and prioritize in a high-volume, dynamic environment with analytical focus to be able to identify coaching needs, trends and best practices.
  • Experience using a CRM, Pipedrive or other customer management software.
