Duties

As a IT Specialist (INFOSEC) (Direct Hire), you will:

  • Apply Information Technology (IT) systems security principles and methods in order to recommend appropriate technical strategies to resolve complex and persistent IT security challenges.
  • Review proposed new systems, networks, and software designs for potential security risks.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs. Identify new processes, techniques, and procedures to upgrade and enhance security protocols. Consult with top management officials to develop strategies and policies that govern implementation of security and reliability procedures throughout the organization.
  • Prepare and present complex reports on various subjects.
  • Conduct analyses and recommend resolution of complex issues affecting Ginnie Mae Operations and for ensuring the integration of IT programs and services.
