About the Position Shift: Nights Schedule: 7pm- 7 am ICU: Closed Procedures: Not Required Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV), located in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, is an acute care hospital with 300 plus beds. GWV provides high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents throughout Luzerne County and northeastern Pennsylvania. It features the only Level II trauma center and electronic intensive care unit in Lackawanna County, serving seriously ill and injured patients. Additionally, GCMC offers advanced specialists in areas such as general surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, and orthopedics. Job Duties

Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories.Performsand/orinterpretsdiagnostic testsas needed.Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illness.May prescribeor administermedications.Prepares, maintains, and reviews records that includepatients'histories, examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes.Work is typically performed in a clinical and office environment.
