  • Project Overview: Bechtel currently manages the Mobile Launcher 2 project at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This project is the design and construction of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) for the Space Launch System (SLS).
  • Job Summary: In this role, you will provide project field engineering support with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover.
  • Quantities Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.
  • Supports construction Engineers, Discipline Superintendents, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident of the U.S. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of construction activities relating to engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.
