Lets do this. Lets change the world. The Undergraduate Co-op at Amgen offers students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their studies. The co-op runs from May to August 2025 at our New Albany, OH site. In conjunction with project work, you will have the opportunity for professional development through training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and various networking events.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Working with the engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams on packaging line commercial support, and commissioning and qualification support of new packaging lines, leveraging your analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

    • Working cross-functionally to identify problems, measure the current state, and develop, present, and implement recommendations.

      • Networking with colleagues across the company and enjoy full access to Amgens Employee Resource Groups.

        Basic Qualifications

        Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

        • 18 years or older

          • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

            • Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing

              • Enrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

                • Must not be employed at the time the internship or co-op starts

                  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship OR co-op

                    Preferred Qualifications

                  • Degree concentration in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or related degree

                  • Sophomore or Junior

                  • Previous Co-op or internship experience

                  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management, problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills

                  • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability

                  • Proven leadership experience on campus (e.g., projects, clubs, organizations, sports)
