Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Intensivist to join its practice at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida. The hospital’s PICU offers:

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is part of HCA, the leading healthcare provider in the state, and the only facility in the area offering a PICU 6-bed PICU with an average of 425 annual admissions 15-bed pediatric floor with approximately 1,200 annual admissions Team of Pediatric Intensivists and Pediatric Hospitalists Our affiliated team of Neonatologists cover the NICU State of the art equipment including CT, EKGs and MRI Various ventilation methods, including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA, SIMV, CPAP and HFNC; as well as iNO Services include pediatric emergency room, cardiac monitors designed specifically for children, pulmonary function testing, pediatric rehabilitation services and a child-life specialist On-site pediatric subspecialty support includes surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthamology, otolaryngology, craniofacial/plastic surgery and anesthesia. Full complement of telehealth subspecialty support is also available.
