RF Test Technician
Job Description
The Engineering Technician 4 position will be responsible for testing parts in the characterization lab, creating setup in the lab, evaluate results. The candidate shall have hands on experience with signal generator, network analyzer, multimeter, signal analyzer, power meter, etc. You will be a key contributor to the product development process for our next generation portfolio of wireless products focused on IoT, Infrastructure, Automotive, and AI.
Responsibilities:
-Support engineering activities such as test, check results and setup modification
-Work from schematic, diagrams, written and verbal description
-Assist in determining methods for time reduction
-Building RF test setups and harnesses
-Perform RF tests, evaluating standard RF devices, including but not limited to amplifiers, filters, couplers, etc.
Job Requirements
-Associate degree preferred
-OR 6+ years of relevant equivalent experience
-Knowledge and hands on experience with test equipment: multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Signal Generators, Power meter, etc.
-Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
-Ability to understand schematics and diagrams
-Possess a team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership
-Preferred: Proficiency in bench level trouble shooting electronics equipment
-Basic understanding of RF Technology

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD
$28.65
-
$50.05 per hour
. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
