The OSHA Instructor will perform OSHA training through classroom and hands on activities to ensure student comprehension of the materials presented. They will organize and conduct health and safety OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 training courses at various locations. The instructor will be able to convey OSHA standards and know their training audience to ensure the course meets the company needs.
Required Qualification
Have five years of general industry safety experienceA college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation may be substituted for two years of experience. Obtain guidance on whether you meet this requirement from the OSHA Training Institute (OTI} Education Center where you want to take the trainingComplete OSHA course #511, Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry. This course covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principlesExcellent facilitation, written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsExperience providing training to employees and adult learners, using popular education/interactive approachesAbility to work effectively with diverse groupsMust demonstrate leadership quality and be able to work with minimal supervision

Physical Demands
Requires some travel to IWCC Center or business locations in the area. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Salary : $33.00/hour
