YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
  • Support design, development, and implementation of new sterile disposable product designs utilized in radiology and cardiovascular medical procedures;
  • Conduct or support testing in a R&D lab environment to verify concept product designs;
  • Research new technologies associated with sterile medical disposable products;
  • Support verification / validation testing of production intent products using novel product designs;
  • Create various design history file documentation throughout the product development process including technical assessments, test protocols / reports, and various engineering documentation.


WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be in an Engineering major in the following disciplines: Biomedical, Mechanical, or Plastics Must be actively entering into Junior through Graduate year of college;
  • Attention to detail, goal seeker, and demonstrated strong work ethic;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
  • Competency in the use of lab equipment Preferred: Experience in 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, etc.).
