Position: Host/Hostess

About Us: At Banning’s Restaurant and Pie House, we pride ourselves on delivering delicious cuisine and unparalleled service in a welcoming atmosphere. Located in Tigard Oregon for 45 years, we are a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:
• Warmly greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a memorable first impression
• Manage the waitlist with accuracy and efficiency
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable.
• Coordinate with servers and other team members to maintain smooth operations and timely seating
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special accommodations with professionalism and attentiveness
• Helping with all aspects of to-go and online orders
• Taking bakery orders
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host area and lobby

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
