JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the coordination of guest service including Spa treatments, fitness equipment and retail.  Ensure a clean and safe environment for all guests.  Provide a level of excellence in guest service through direct interaction and communication.

JOB DUTIES

  • Communicate effectively within the Spa and to all other departments of Hotel Terra & Teton Mountain Lodge.
  • Schedule Spa reservations with guests.
  • Welcome and introduce guests to facility and services available.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Demonstrate a guest driven style of leadership sense of urgency in interactions, executions and recovery.
  • Assist guest with purchase of retail products.
  • Maintain retail display shelves with organization and cleaning.
  • Restock all retail merchandise and guest supplies throughout the Spa.
  • Report any equipment problems to management or facilities in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the facility during entire shift.
  • Open and close facility in compliance with Hotel Terra & Teton Mountain Lodge policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile and balance all therapists’ slips at the close of shift.
  • Reconcile and balance cash drawer at the close of shift.
  • Use effective and professional communication to ensure proper interaction with all guests and associates.
  • Support Hotel Terra & Teton Mountain Lodge environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industry.
  • Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately

RESPONSIBILTY

  • Report for work on time and in uniform, including nametag and smile.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a spirit of cooperation.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of front desk operations.
  • Understand and maintain the standards, values, goals and vision of the hotel.
  • Display a “guest first” attitude

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong verbal communication and written skills. 
  • Must be able to give and receive information clearly.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Telephone skills.
  • Strong desire to deliver high quality customer service.
  • Detail oriented as it pertains to accuracy and efficiency.
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Ability to handle pressure situations with demanding client and management needs.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lifting and carrying 30lbs.
  • Walking.
  • Sitting.
  • Bending.
  • Hearing and manual dexterity.
