As we continue to expand our operations, we are actively seeking a seasoned IT Director with a robust background in cybersecurity and systems management to lead our technology initiatives.

The IT Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology strategy, ensuring the security, resilience, and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. This leadership position requires a forward-thinking individual with a passion for cybersecurity and a proven track record in managing complex systems and cyber security within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect sensitive data and critical infrastructure. Oversee the implementation of robust security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to proactively address potential risks.

Systems Management:

Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure IT systems that support the organization's operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology requirements and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Ensure the reliability and availability of critical systems, including servers, networks, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Team Leadership and Development:

Manage and inspire a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.

Compliance and Risk Mitigation:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and cybersecurity standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to mitigate cybersecurity threats.

Technology Innovation:

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to drive business success. Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Proven experience (10+ years) in IT leadership roles with a focus on cybersecurity and systems management. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, standards, and compliance requirements. Experience in the renewable energy sector or a similar technology-intensive industry is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a strong plus.
