Sr. Architect Power Platform/SharePoint (Hybrid)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Architect with experience in Power Platform, SharePoint and SharePoint Online, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Architects have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex solutions using Power Platform and SharePoint technologies.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of SharePoint Online solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Provide technical expertise in Power Platform to create efficient and scalable applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to development teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
  • Mentor junior architects and developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power Platform and SharePoint technologies.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with architectural decisions.
  • Optimize existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies that can benefit the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of proven and solid experience.
  • Deep understanding of Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Showcase excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.
  • Display a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • Show proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $100K – $160K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
