Candidate must machine product utilizing CNC machining centers according to company or customer drawings and specifications.
This role will report directly to Machine Shop SupervisorDuties and Responsibilities:Operation of CNC lathes and millsInspects output for quality and documents or discards defects.
Exhibit safe work habits adhering to all PPE and OSHA requirements for assigned area.
Vocational Training or three years' experience as a CNC machinist is preferred.
Communication skillsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to perform basic mathMust have ability to utilize Manufacturing System to scan time card and labor ticketsAbility to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain a clean work environmentAbility to work overtime as requiredMust have the ability perform your own machine set-upsMust have knowledge of machinist measuring tools and ability to perform quality checksPhysical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Employee is required to be on site during scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Requires daily face-to-face interaction with co-workers on production floor.
