The general purpose of this job is to prepare quality food for the residents in accordance with safety and health guidelines at all times. The Cook will prepare appetizing, attractive, nutritious meals to residents in a timely and consistent manner. All food will be prepared according to recipes and the highest food sanitation standards.

For this position, we are seeking a self-starter who enjoys working closely with others in a fast-paced, hands on environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional and communicative; and must have a minimum of one (1) year of professional cooking, food preparation or related experience in a fast paced, high-volume setting.

Compensation: $DOE + benefits

Schedule: 40 hours/week.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. At least one year of experience in food services related industry. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to speak, read and write in English. Able to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required.
