As an Economist, you will:
-Lead and determine the nature and the scope of necessary econometric and statistical analyses; determines time parameters, necessary data acquisition and treatment, and appropriate statistical methodologies; and directs contractors providing analytical services.
-Independently prepare memoranda, statistical reports, briefing papers, and other written materials in support of internal determinations of violations of fair housing or other civil rights authorities, in support of Departmental policy making, or for outside publication.
-Ensure that analytical products include a statement of methodology or reference to a methodological volume or report and ensures that evidentiary databases are well-documented.
-Design and lead training for housing investigators on the planning and conduct of fair housing investigations, particularly provides instructions on collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data.
