This is a wonderful opportunity to join an experienced surgical team supported by well-trained PA’s and NP’s and provide support to the busiest community in Santa Barbara County.
**About the Organization:**
Marian Regional Medical Center is designated as a Level II Trauma Center, which provides prompt assessment, resuscitation and stabilization of injured patients. Key elements of our Level II Trauma Center include 24-hour immediate coverage by emergency medicine physicians, and the availability of trauma surgeons and anesthesiologists.
**Job Details:**
1. Full-Time employment preferred
2. EMR: Cerner
3. Develop treatment plans and interventions
4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
5. Document medical diagnoses and treatment plans
6. Order and interpret diagnostic tests
7. Perform procedures as needed
8. Discharge planning / outpatient follow up care
**Requirements:**
- CA Medical license
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Surgery
- Completion of Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
