  • Job Description AECOM is seeking a RCRA Specialist IV for our Arlington, VA location.
  • The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Laws and Regulations, Hazardous Materials Management, as well as provide environmental compliance projects for a broad range of clients.
  • Work assignments include: Audits (RCRA and Multimedia) Hazardous Waste Management Plans Waste minimization plans 1 hour and 8 hours RCRA training 8-hour DOT training Report preparation Sampling Field investigation Community Involvement/outreach and Environmental Justice RCRA Part B Permits The candidate will work productively in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate growth potential, along with the desire to learn.
  • Prepare and give 8-hour RCRA and DOT training, and 1 hour awareness training.
  • Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will process a current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
  • Experience in SWPPP, SPCC, EPCRA, Phase 1 is desirable.
  • Multimedia experience Project management experience Having a current Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) credential is highly desirable.
