Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

Overview :
Our client is seeking a full-time Home Health RN in Middlesex County, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide skilled nursing care, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration, and maintain patient safety. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. The candidate should have experience in home health care. This position will serve the following coverage areas: Middlesex County, NJ.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to a specified (or variety) of age and diagnostic groups.
Utilize principles of the nursing process to assist in data collection, planning, and evaluation of nursing care.
Demonstrate nursing knowledge and skills in implementing prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care.
Utilize effective interviewing techniques, set limits, and collect data based on a specific role.
Based on specific roles, communicate and collaborate effectively with health care providers, third parties, patients, and families.
Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients
Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and response to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
Use oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to members of the healthcare team promptly.
