Data Processing Infrastructure Team DevOps Engineers
Functions:
Own :
- NFRs of platforms supported
o Availability / Uptime
o Resilience Posture (Cross-Region, Multi-AZ, Blue-Green Infra and code deployments)
o Capacity Management / Forecasting & Performance Tuning

Do not Own :
o Business Logic
o Low-level Workflow details and Data Quality
o Data processed by platform

Requirement:

Skills:
Top 5 Must Haves:
(2) 602 min years 3-4
(3) 603 min years 6-8
- System Design, Linux Fundamentals, Shell / Python scripting*
- Proven Cloud Experience*
o Building and maintaining microservices architecture on the cloud*
- Proficiency in CICD systems (Github Actions, Jenkins, TravisCI) and building pipelines for code build, test, certification, scanning and deployment *

other requirements
o IAM / AuthZ / AuthN
o Storage Systems (S3, Object Stores, Key Value Stores)
o Hands on knowledge of building, maintaining databases
o Understanding of certificates, security standards, HTTPS / TLS
- Understanding of kernel modules and Linux security features
- Understanding of logs, metrics and alerting, dashboards and incident response
- Experience in building Observability tooling
- Experience in trend analysis, very sharp debugging skills and curiosity to improve system performance and efficiency
- Proficiency in build systems (make, maven, gradle)
- Proficiency in Infra-As-Code Tools (Ansible, Chef, Terraform, CDK)
- Hands-On knowledge Kubernetes (any flavor, any distribution)
- Terraform, AWS CDK
