Pay: $24- $27/hr D.O.E. 

Location: Woodland, CA 

Schedule: M-F 8a - 5p

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is working with a local Agricultural company in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist.  The Accounts Payable Specialist will process all Accounts Payable invoices and resolve Vendor discrepancies as well as forecast for weekly cash flow.  The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist demonstrates excellent Accounting skills including Accounting Software, Quickbooks, and excellent time management and organizational skills.  The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time, in-office, Temp to Hire position with an outstanding team in Woodland, CA. 

Accounts Payable Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process & Track All Accounts Payable Invoices

• Set up New Vendor Accounts For Processing 

• Review, Process, & Submit Accounts Payable Invoices in an Accurate & Timely Manner 

• Review Monthly AP Statements For Discrepancies & Work With Vendors to Resolve Issues 

• Forecast For Cash Flow Needs Weekly 

• Organize Files & Maintain All Vendor Invoices in an Orderly System

• Follow Company & State Laws For Compliance Regarding Vendor Payments 

• Assist With Additional AP & Office Needs as Directed 

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• BA/BS in Accounting or Related Field Required 

• 2-3 Years of Accounts Payable Experience Required 

• Excellent Knowledge of Accounting Software Required 

• Solid Knowledge of QuickBooks & Accounting Principles

• Excellent Attention to Detail & Time Management Skills
