Indirects Analyst

Job Description:

*US based - Remote

This role is responsible for the development of spend analytics for the North America Indirect region across 2 countries using multiple versions of ERP systems to provide visibility for strategic sourcing and operational management of indirect spend and ensure alignment/standardization with the broader Mars organization on spend categorization. This is achieved by partnering with the S&F team, sourcing managers, Navision subject matter experts at Royal Canin, as well as partnering with MGS Commercial associates. Other responsibilities include leading Indirect vendor onboarding opportunities and other Value Chain Operation projects related to Indirect suppliers or activities.  The position is fully accountable for data integrity, reporting, and system enhancements /standardization for indirect spend in North America.    The role operates in a pet friendly, open office environment supporting the Mars vision to Make a Better World for Pets.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field

• 2 + years of experience in supply chain data analytics

• Experience with Vendor Management

• Preferred - 2 + years of relevant business experience with ERP systems, complex reporting, procurement, inbound, logistics, vendor quality assurance, or related field.

• Periodic to Quarterly update spend and KPI files with new data

• Administrator for vendor onboarding process

• Support all spend reporting requests from Indirect Buyers

• Responsible for the Sievo Cost Savings KPI tool and process

• Act as the liaison between RC Sourcing, MGS Commercial, and S&F with regards to indirect spend data

• Responsible for quarterly spend meeting to discuss trends, anomalies, concerns

• Identify, communicate, resolve, new supplier concerns

• Problem solve and manage spend data issues from the Commercial perspective

• Participate in all relevant aspects of the KPI reporting process, collaborate with Sourcing to ensure data & information flows efficiently (periodic updates to NA Commercial team)

• Manage spend tools & systems standardization and enhancements

• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of business results in the following key areas:

  • Quality, timely, spend analytics & reporting

  • Total Delivered Cost Reductions Process & KPI tool

• Demonstrate a quality & collaborative culture in actions, words and spirit

• Other duties as assigned to support Commercial
