About the role
This strategic and innovative collaborator will continuously monitor the evolution of the US healthcare and Immunology landscape with a focus on innovating novel solutions for Immunology patients, providers, and payers. This strategic role will establish âabove the brandâ relationships across the care delivery continuum to identify gaps and barriers to achieving optimal patient experiences and a seamless health care journey to wellness  .

Who youâll work with
This strategic and innovative position within the UCB IPVU is a dynamic field-based role, requiring ongoing intelligence gathering through frequent collaboration with Immunology Health Care Providers & Organizations and supporting UCB field based personnel, including Ecosystem Partners, Immunology Medical Outcomes Liaisons (iMOL), Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs) among others.Â

What youâll do
- Identify and socialize with designated IPVU stakeholders the overarching healthcare trends that are shaping the Immunology and broader health care marketplaceÂ
- Implement Design Thinking and Human Centered Design methodologies to effectively launch proof of concepts and proof of value pilots across the health care continuum
- Embrace and implement an entrepreneurial spirit that fosters a âtry firstâ, âfail fastâ, and âlearn quicklyâ methodology to Innovation
- Source and connect with potential leaders in population health and healthcare policy to inform and potentially guide Immunology and Innovation strategyÂ
- Rally support around actionable programs that may have an appreciable impact on the value to the Immunology patient and/or to the growth of the IPVU business
- Provide proactive input from external market research publications (whitepapers, periodicals, studies, etc.)Â
- Manage and hold accountable vendor/agency partners to provide quality deliverables on time and in budget
- Learn and develop proficiency in UCB internal processes including {Review Committee}, {ANFs}, {SOWs}, {CDAâs}, and Collaboration Agreement execution.Â
- Cultivate Key Opinion Leader (KOL) advocacy for current and future UCB Immunology Innovation initiatives specific to patient advocacy, market access, value based care, digital transformation, etc.
- Partner with Core (Commercial) Team Leads across Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology to understand market needs and align on education, evidence generation and access opportunities that optimize outcomes and improve practice processes.
- Partner with Real World Evidence (RWE) and Immunology Medical Outcome Liaison (IMOL).
- Partner with the UCB Ecosystem leadership team to collaborate and align on market intelligence, identify opportunities for innovative pilots and support efforts to scale innovation solutionsÂ
- Partner with the IPVU Patient Services Team to align on opportunities to identify innovative opportunities to accelerate access to healthcare and wellness resources and enhance the patient journey

Interested? For this role weâre looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Bachelorâs degree required, MBA in health care related studies is strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive and/or combined pharmaceutical and health care experience to include 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales leadership with any combination of the following experiences strongly desired: Innovation, Market Access, Marketing, Informatics, Digital Transformation, Patient Advocacy, Medical Outcomes, Clinical Research, RWEÂ
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance and Regulatory teams in a highly regulated environmentÂ
- Demonstrated ability to successfully execute intraorganizational and interdependent initiatives across executive level leadership teams
- Demonstrated success in managing a budget
