Superintendent -PM (Wet Utilities)

I am partnered with a Nashville area company that is in need of a Superintendent - PM to oversee three crews working on underground utilities. Projects are typically being completed for GCs or Grading and Earth moving companies. Ability to work with utility departments, inspectors and be accountable of each job site. 

This position will oversee 2-4 projects at a time, lasting on average 3 to 4 weeks. Occasional projects lasting 3-6 months. Ideal candidates should be accountable and able to independently complete their work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial underground (wet) utility experience in construction (sewer, water mains, etc.) 
  • Ability to understand and manage various city codes pertaining to each project
  • An individual that is ready to move into or is new to a Superintendent/Project Manager role
  • Oversee multiple crews and concurrent projects - projects typically last 3-4 weeks in duration and this position will oversee several projects at one time
  • Work with internal office staff (bidding and purchasing)
  • Highly organized - project management capabilities
  • Strong communication skills to work with Crew Leaders/Foremen, Utility Companies and Inspectors
