Project Planner - Illinois - Life Sciences - 12-month contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Planner to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Illinois, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
Project Scheduling:Create high-level and detailed schedules for both project and operational readiness activities.Integrate ongoing equipment qualification activities for parenteral equipment (filling, equipment prep, and formulation) into the project schedule.Ensure the project schedule covers asset readiness through PV (Process Validation). Resource Mobilization:Quickly mobilize resources based on project needs and stakeholder feedback.Develop a mobilization plan for resources, ensuring all required personnel are available and prepared. Stakeholder Coordination:Work closely with key stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure all project and operational readiness activities are aligned.Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress. Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and submit detailed project schedules and operational readiness schedules.Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including any changes to the project scope.Provide monthly reports on spend to date vs. overall budget.
Qualifications:
Experience: Extensive experience in scheduling and project management within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, particularly in parenteral manufacturing.Skills:Proficient in project scheduling software and tools.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to quickly mobilize resources and develop comprehensive schedules. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
