What We Offer:

Hourly Rate: $19 to $24 + Uncapped Commission & Bonuses
Full Time: 40 hrs./5-day work week
Monday - Saturday: must be able to work retail hours
Possible hours: 8 am to 4 pm, 10 am to 6 pm, 11 am to 7pm, Sat. - 10 am to 4 pm
90 days paid training

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding service to determine customer's overall design needs
Build strong client relationships and follow up on all jobs
Schedule appointments to have client consultations in the showroom, their home or workplace
Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided
Review space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, create/present project proposals, schedule installation team, and perform quality control throughout project
Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and order materials for active projects
Assist in unloading flooring materials and showroom supplies when needed
Attend networking groups and events
Manage time between the showroom and prospecting for new business
Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-4 years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Outside Sales, Interior Design, or similar role
Must have a valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Must have basic computer/social media and math skills
Associate or bachelor's degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
Proper phone etiquette
A positive attitude and desire to grow a business
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors & clients
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong personal and professional judgment
Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers' needs and wants
Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
Knowledge of RFMS & Measure Mobile a plus (Willing to train)
