POSITION SUMMARY

The groundskeeper has the overall responsibility of maintaining the campus grounds and all equipment used by the department in the maintenance of grounds and snow removal.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of trade or technical school
  • Ability to make independent decisions, use good judgment and demonstrate integrity
  • Proven ability to interact professionally and communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
  • Must be able to work overtime upon supervisors request or work load
  • Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a clean driving record
  • Maintains an on-call status for emergency problems
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
  • Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts
