Med/Peds Nocturnist opening near Fayetteville, NC

Located in Clinton, NC - just 34 miles from Fayetteville
Service area of 65,000 people
Full-time, permanent opening
Hospital-employed position
Must be BC/BE Family Medicine or Med/Peds
Approximately 14 shifts/month
Highly competitive salary and hospital benefits

Responsibilities include:

Round on Adult and Pediatric patients (great mix for individual who wants the excitement of a hospitalists position but still seeing patients from all ages)
Attend emergent caesarian sections and round in the newborn nursery (NRP certification is required)
Admit patients from the ER, as well as directly from primary care offices
Run codes/round in the ICU
Care for skilled care and swing bed patients
Work independently, with specialty doctors available by phone for on-call requirements
Procedures optional
Comfortable with ventilator
MediTech EMR
Nocturnist can expect to have 5 patient encounters per night & 3-4 emergency department admissions
