Description
- Manage all phases of commercial interior fit-out projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure that project specifications are met.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, manage expectations, and address any concerns.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues that arise.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with all NYC building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Lead project meetings and collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and closeout materials.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5
years of project management experience in commercial interior fit-out projects, preferably in NYC. - In-depth knowledge of NYC construction codes, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering high-end interior projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
