Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our dynamic team. As a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician at Meritus Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients admitted to our hospital. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients admitted to the hospital.Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support.Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences.Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school.Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.Completion of a Pediatric residency program.Current state medical license and DEA registration.Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to providing compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families.
