The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative React Developer w/.NET to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Location: Johnson, Rhode Island
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using React and the .NET framework
- Working with technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and Hot Chocolate, as well as front-end web development technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- The Full Stack Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Strong technical skills and experience with both front-end and back-end development is essential for this role.
- Good knowledge DDD design patterns, CQRS, Clean architecture are mandatory. Strong React skills are expected.
- They will also be able to collaborate with other team members, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.
Required Skills:
- Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Developing and maintaining front-end web components using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Designing and developing software using the .NET framework, including C#, ASP.NET, and Hot Chocolate.
- Building and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
- Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
- Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
- Communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.
