As part of the team here, you'll ensure every product we sell online or in-stores is delivered on time and with quality, ensuring our customers are amazed and delighted with their selection. The Merchandise Handler Returns is responsible for controlling the activities related to tracking, shipping, receiving, distributing, and storing of returns.

What you'll do:

Process returns orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contactTrack and monitor orders for customers and sales personnel and maintains customer files with sales contracts and other informationReview orders for completeness according to reporting proceduresPerform clerical tasks such as assisting with physical inventory, processing of returned products in internal systems, and collecting data about source of returnsResolve any discrepancies between return documentation and physical productCommunicate with internal and external groups including warehouse, clients, suppliers and vendorsInspect returns and identifies products that can be resoldWork within Warehouse Management Software System for all inventory informationTransfer returned materials, packs, and prepares returns for shipment while in storageClean up and dispose of boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areasRotate through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the businessParticipate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the positionPerform all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals

What you'll bring:

1+ years previous related work experienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentExperience and working knowledge of warehouse management systemsAdvanced English Language proficiencyComputer literate including but not limited to Google OSMechanical aptitude to assemble furniture piecesPossess a complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the positionMaintains an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines as outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manualsGood communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAttention to detail
