About this Position: 

The Manufacturing Management Center Tech Engineer will be responsible for analyzing mass production design changes and communicating them throughout the Assembly Frame department. They will support with implementing part control by use of various methods to improve quality, delivery, production efficiency, and overall product.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze design changes in 2D and/or 3D and communicate to all groups within Assembly Frame. Identify any concern to avoid any critical outflows.  
  • Design/manage fixtures to meet design specifications as well as help production to improve quality, delivery, and efficiency.  
  • Create/manage various factory-issued drawings for subassemblies, part marks, shipping conditions, etc.
  • Implement various part control methods such as utilizing a buildsheet, similarity sheet, part scan, etc.  
  • Support any new model trial runs

 

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent experience

Required Education:

  • 0-6 years’ experience based on education; preferred co-op experience in a manufacturing environment

Desired Skills:

  • Familiar with MS Office
  • CATIA or Similar 3D modeling software
  • able to read and interpret technical drawings

Additional Position Factors:

  • Position is for 1st shift (6:30AM ~ 3:00PM) but may need to adjust when necessary.
  • Support on assembly production line when needed.
  • Overtime required based on business needs including weekends.
  • 5~10% travel involved (benchmarking, training, support others)
