General Certified Nurse Anesthetist Full-Time position in Alamogordo, New Mexico

Currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dedicated team at a well-established hospital in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This position will primarily involve working within our state-of-the-art operating suites, which include 4 operating rooms and dedicated procedure rooms. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our anesthesia team, providing high-quality care to our patients undergoing surgical procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four main categories: pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence, and post-anesthesia care.
· Monitor patient responses to anesthesia and surgery; adjust anesthetics accordingly.
· Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to provide optimal care.
· Participate in add-on surgeries after standard operating hours as needed.
· Share on-call responsibilities, ensuring availability for emergency surgeries and call-back procedures.
· Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
· Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures regarding safety, infection control, and quality improvement.
**Schedule:**
· Full-time position, 5 days a week from 7 AM to 3 PM.
· Availability for add-on surgeries post-3 PM as required.
· On-call duties
**Qualifications:**
· Current and unrestricted CRNA certification in the state of New Mexico.
· 2 years experience in anesthesiology and acute care settings.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
· Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
