Overview:

 

The Los Angeles Rams Community Impact Team is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the primary driver for events, transporting essential equipment, materials, and personnel throughout the region. The ideal candidate will have experience operating an 18 ft or larger box truck, excellent communication skills, and a passion for community engagement. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of various community events and initiatives organized by the Los Angeles Rams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Transportation Logistics: Safely operate an 18 ft or larger box truck to transport equipment, materials, and team members to and from community events, ensuring

timely arrival and departure.

Equipment Management: Maintain inventory and ensure the proper loading, unloading, and securement of event equipment, including promotional materials, signage, and football equipment.

Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to navigate through the Los Angeles region, considering traffic patterns, road closures, and event schedules to minimize delays and ensure on-time arrival.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the box truck, including fueling, fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness, ensuring that the vehicle is in optimal condition for safe operation.

Communication: Coordinate with the Community Affairs Team to communicate transportation logistics, event schedules, and any changes or updates in real-time, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols while operating the box truck, prioritizing the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other motorists at all times.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance, as well as any incidents or issues encountered during transportation, reporting them to the appropriate supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

 
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating an 18 ft or larger box truck.
  • Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles roadways and surrounding areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and equipment.
  • Prior experience in event logistics or community engagement is a plus.
  Pay rate: $24/hr.
