We are currently seeking a Java API Developer - Onsite to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

We are seeking a skilled Java API Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our API solutions. In this role, you will work with Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies to build high-quality, scalable, and secure APIs, following best practices and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
  • Implement data access layers using JPA, Hibernate, and ORM tools to interact with databases
  • Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into efficient API solutions
  • Implement API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and input validation
  • Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Stay updated with the latest API development trends and best practices

Basic Qualifications
  • Seeking a Java developer with 4-6 years of experience, currently actively working on Java projects.
  • 4-6 years of experience working with the latest technologies, including JAVA 17, REST Web Services, Hibernate-JPA/Spring Data R2DB, and Spring Boot 3.2.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GITHUB, and Jenkins is highly desirable.
  • The candidate should also have hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • A key part of the role involves designing, developing, and implementing APIs. The ability to work independently, yet collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, is crucial for this role
  • Candidate should have excellent communication skills
