To help us drive excellence, as a CNC Machinist, you’ll get to:

·         Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.

·         Lift metal part or stock onto machine and secures it on machine table, in chuck, or holding fixture.

·         Perform manual bench-type tasks such as sawing, filing, grinding, Milling, Drilling, painting, etc.

·         Monitor machine operations for malfunctions or problems and notifies supervisor or maintenance immediately upon discovery.

·         Inspect parts, components, visually for quality defects such as scrap marks, rust, burrs, etc.

·         Inspect and ensures parts, components, and assemblies meet specifications.

·         Performs routine and preventative maintenance and setup work to maintain machines according to schedules, which may require repairing, replacing, and lubricating parts.

This full-time role is a part of our Machine Shop Team and reports to the Operations Manager

 

Required education & experience:

·         High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

·         Journeyman card preferred

 

Required Skills & Abilities

·         Ability to operate manual lathes and mills

·         Ability to run all tool room and precision equipment efficiently

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints

 

Preferred additional skills & abilities:

·         Ability to work with the following tools or machinery:

·         Micrometers

·         Calipers

·         Scales

·         Crane

·         Hilo
