Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. The smelter processes copper concentrate primarily from our company's Arizona copper mines and is the most significant source of sulphuric acid for our North American leaching operations. Description

Under direct supervision, perform multiple roles that may include; front desk attendant, fitness room attendant.

Maintain positive customer service in their respective areaManage and maintain equipment in their respective areas assignedAssist and implement in all aspects of recreation programmingHandle registration, cash handling, reservations, membership management, assisting public and answering telephonesMaintaining supervision and safety in area of responsibilityRemain current with all certifications, trends in industry, and safety standardsProvides care, constant attention, and supervision to children within the respective area assignedPromote a marketing plan for the ongoing development of the Cobre Valley Community Center (CVCC)Conform to established program budget(s), monitor expenditures, and provide assistance for budget development and cost control activitiesMaintain accurate records of inventory; and resolve discrepancies when they occurPerform other duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to obtain position specific certifications within one (1) month of employment; AED, First Aid, CPR, Food HandlersKnowledge of and ability to apply marketing practicesCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsAbility to maintain positive community and working relationshipsCompetency in the use of MS Office Software

Criteria/Conditions

Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in EnglishAbility to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standardsMust be able to work in a potentially stressful environmentWork is performed in an indoor setting, aquatic environment, or outdoor settingFreeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as per applicable State Laws

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $15.00 - $19.00hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. What We Require
Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam. Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing. Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
