Job Summary:HCA Healthcare is seeking a trauma surgeon board certified in surgical critical care for a Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, Florida.

Qualified Candidates:

Must be fellowship trained and board certified in Surgical Critical Care and General surgery by the ABSMust hold or be able to obtain an active Florida Medical License prior to startATLS Required12 hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hour secondary call from home with 30 minute response (rarely called in)15 shifts/month of Emergency General SurgeryWillingness to work at on-site clinic for post-op follow up visitLevel II Trauma Center12 OR s (including a cysto room & 1 designated for trauma)34 bed Emergency Department: Volume - 46k60 ICU beds2021 Registry Volume 2,960, Trauma Admissions 1,969, Blunt 93%, Penetrating 7%General Surgery Resident Program launched in 2018Program has 24 hour APP & Surgical Resident coverageAsk about our available Leadership positions
