This individual will be responsible for smart glass sensor automated tester design/bring-up/ characterization/ validation. This engineer will develop test systems to enable rapid evaluation and testing of sensor sub-systems on consumer wearable products in the development phase. 

Work Experience

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Broad ownership of software controlled electromechanical systems in support of product development and validation teams. 
  • Ability to specify electromechanical fixtures/systems for system validation of consumer wearable devices 
  • Create automation test scripts for integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components. 
  • Hands-on experience with Python 
  • Understands system HW/SW/FW component and drives test execution and debug with cross-functional teams. 
  • Coordinate and conduct validation testing, including the execution of test scripts, collection of data, failure analysis and validation signoff. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams (i.e., architecture, FW, EE, STL, and product engineer teams) to generate validation reports and communicate technical risk with failure analysis 
  • Able to work in an agile environment, changing roadmaps and be able to adapt validation plans based on changes. 

Skills Required 

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with Programming Skills 
  • Programming skills to develop software/firmware/scripts for validation, characterization, and prototyping (e.g. Python) 
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.  
  • Knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of drawings and models 
  • Experience in Consumer Electronic Industry preferably in Wearables 
  • Great written and oral communications skills
