    Job Description

  • Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Education: Provide EHS training and education to employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Incident Management: Investigate and manage EHS incidents, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit required EHS reports and documentation to regulatory agencies and company management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS practices and processes.

    The Successful Applicant

  • B.S. in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or Safety Engineering
5-7+ years safety experience CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industry Hygienist) or comparable certification is a plus Knowledge of Federal and State RegulationsHave strong communication, written and computer skills Good time management and organizational skillsKnowledge and experience working with Regulatory Agencies such as, OSHA, EPA, DOT and others as appropriate Professional Certification CSP/ASP/CHST preferred.
