Job Details: Seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or NICU PA for Innovative Level II NICU Telehealth Practice in Durango, CO Blocks of time offEnvision Physician Services is seeking a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/NICU PA to join our new team to provide telehealth Neonatology services at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, CO. You will work alongside a dedicated team of allied health providers (NNPs/NICU PAs) coupled with being a part of a larger care team within the state of CO and KS where quality improvement and evidence-based practice are at the forefront. This is a great opportunity for an experienced NNP to help in the overall development of NICU care in the Durango communityOpportunity Highlights: Join a larger Neonatology team within the state of Colorado/Kansas with hopes of improving the standard of care in all the units we provide services Innovative telehealth model for newborn nursery/Level II NICU coverage Block scheduling for work/life balance Be a part of a growing NICU service Robust benefits which include malpractice, medical, dental, vision, and 401k (Effective day 1)Opportunity Details: Staffing Model: 5 Neonatologists, 2 APPs 2 APPs allocated to Mercy Regional Opportunities to rotate within the market for increased acuity if desired Schedule: Week on/off Telerounds with Neonatologist (based out of Level III St. Francis Medical Center) Call from home (**Low volume/acuity service – 800 deliveries annually) Coverage includes: Attendance at high-risk deliveries Care of some newborns Level II NICU (7-beds; ADC 2) Telerounding with Neonatology team in Colorado Springs, CO Education of nursing team to enhance skillset/critical thinking skills About EnvisionWith over 30 years of high-quality Women’s & Children’s services and more than 100 service contracts, Envision Physician Services is a trusted strategic partner for established hospitals and health systems. Facility Information: Mercy Regional Medical Center is an 82-bed, acute-care hospital in Durango, Colorado. Mercy was founded in 1882 but has grown to become Southwest Colorado's largest and most technologically advanced medical facility. It is the only hospital in the region to receive from Medicare a five-star rating for overall hospital quality. Mercy’s areas of specialty include orthopedic and spine surgery, cardiology, emergency and trauma care, cancer care, and more.
