PRODUCTION CLEANING SPECIALIST - CASA GRANDE, AZ PLANT (NIGHT SHIFT - 6:00PM TO 6:00AM - 12 HOUR ROTATING SCHEDULE)

This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What Youâll Work On

  • Ensures that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes. Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and these areas of the plant according to job standards. 
  • Cleans and sanitizes food processing equipment and food processing facilities. Operates specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc. to perform functions of job.
  • Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.
  • Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility.
  • Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval.
  • Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains and any exterior areas requiring attention.
  • Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation.
  • Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools.
  • Maintains all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, instructions., cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.
  • Keeps the cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand and organized.
  • May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained.
  • Youâll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
     

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
     

Preferred

  • Previous cleaning experience but no experience is required.

Shift:

Please note: This is a 12-hour NIGHT SHIFT position from 6:00PM to 6:00AM and allows you to have every other weekend off.

  • Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF
  • Week 2: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours
  • Week 3: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun â OFF
  • Week 4: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

The base pay for this position is $16.55 â $33.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
