POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Overnight Front Desk Agent (Night Auditor) attends to guest needs, including but not limited to, guest registration, cashiering and serving as the primary point of contact for the hotel during the overnight hours of 11pm-7am.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Greet and welcome guests.Register guests into PMS, verifying reservation, contact information and credit.Accept payments for guest accounts both at the time of registration and check out.Serve as point of contact for resort guests and assist with guest resolution. Maintain a house bank and accurately report receipts daily.Answer phone calls a text messages from guests in a timely manner.Respond & process requests for late check outs, room changes, lock outs, billing inquiries and extension of stay.Maintain activity log to allow for proper follow up.Serve as part of the first response team for Emergency procedures and guest incidents during the shiftAssist in managing and controlling proper guest credit authorization. Follow all service standards according to Five Star and Five Diamond standards.Provide accurate and thorough information on the resort's accommodations, promotions, services, and amenities.Communicate effectively with guests and other departments.Attend daily line-ups and weekly Leadership Meetings and Resume Meetings.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Must be 18 years of age or older. High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. 5 Star or 5 Diamond luxury hotel experience preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Publisher, Word, Excel, Outlook required.
REQUIREMENTS

Must have exceptional interpersonal, clear verbal and written communication skills. Second language is a plus.Must hold a valid driver's license. Candidate must have attention to detail, be able to multi-task, must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, experience handling customer service issues and be a team player. Position requires flexibility in scheduling and working overnight, weekends & holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
