For this position, *you must have an Active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Florida, be Nationally Certified (PTCB), and have your sterile compounding certification.*
*You’ll also need previous sterile compounding experience.*
*Key responsibilities:*
· Prepare sterile compounded medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, in accordance with USP guidelines.
· Accurately measure and mix ingredients, following prescribed formulas and protocols.
· Perform routine quality control checks to verify the accuracy and sterility of compounded medications.
· Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
· Document all compounding activities and maintain precise records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
· Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
*Ideally, you’ll be…*
· Passionate about using aseptic techniques to prepare compounded sterile products.
· On the ball with your ability to prepare records and monitor results for Pharmaceutical Quality assurance testing.
· Wanting to get stuck in with the setup of the compounding room with equipment for the preparation of compounded sterile solutions.
