Soft Count Lead

The Soft Count Lead is responsible for overseeing the operation of the soft count room and staff in the absence of the Soft Count Supervisor. Additional duties include performing count and accurate recording of drop boxes while adhering to department policies and procedures, oversees the sorting and counting of chips and currency in drop boxes and strapping of currency. Ensures clear and accurate posting of Games summary sheet, oversees the preparation of the cash and chips to transfer to the cage. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.
Pay begins at $23.72/hr and increases to $24.28/hr upon successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required Some college with emphasis in accounting or business management (preferred)Experience & Requirements:
One year of prior soft count experience is required Six months of supervisory experience Previous cash handling experience Ten-key experience (preferred) Must posses good math skills and pass the required Math testPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours Must have good manual and finger dexterity Must be able to bend, reach, lift, squat and lift up to 25 pounds Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environmentAdditional Requirements:
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include days, swing, graveyard and holidaysMust be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
