Corporate Actions Analyst

- Monitor and manage corporate action events, including dividends, rights issues, stock splits, mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs. Ensure accurate and timely processing in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Analyze corporate action data and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Perform reconciliation of corporate action events and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding corporate actions, providing updates and resolving inquiries related to the events.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in regulatory requirements affecting corporate actions.
- Prepare and review documentation related to corporate actions. Generate and distribute reports on corporate action activities to stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to corporate actions, including discrepancies and exceptions. Coordinate with external parties, such as custodians and brokers, to address and resolve issues.
- Utilize corporate actions processing systems and tools to manage and track corporate action events. Ensure system accuracy and perform regular system updates and maintenance.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in corporate action processing. Implement best practices and contribute to the development of new procedures.

Experience with a Global Financial Insitution|Opportunity for long term employment- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate actions processing or a related financial services role.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems related to corporate actions. Strong understanding of financial instruments, securities, and market practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex data and provide accurate insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
