Makeup and Fragrance Categories:
Design Leadership (25%):
· Manage day-to-day operations, projects, and deliverables.
· Ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
· Create product designs (primary and secondary) in line with ELC needs and markets trends.
Decision Making (15%):
· Make strategic design decisions in alignment with brand objectives.
· Determine packaging design directions and concepts.
· Select suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
· Evaluate and approve design proposals, prototypes, and proofs.
Independence of Action and Accountability (15%):
· Exercise a high level of independence in setting design direction and priorities.
· Ensure accountability for team members' deliverables and project timelines.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams while providing guidance and support.
Problem Solving (15%):
· Identify and address design challenges and constraints.
· Develop creative solutions to packaging design issues.
· Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to resolve production or technical difficulties.
Budget Responsibility (10%):
· Manage the design budget, including operating expenses and project-specific costs in accordance with marketing targets and production COG's.
· Seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising design quality.
· Align design activities with the net sales plan and financial objectives.
Collaboration and Communication (10%):
· Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as marketing and product development teams
· Communicate design strategies and concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
· Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors for production and materials sourcing.
Innovation and Trend Analysis (10%):
· Stay updated on design trends, consumer preferences, and industry advancements.
· Conduct competitive analysis and research to drive innovative packaging designs.
· Introduce new design techniques, materials, and technologies to enhance product presentation.

· Leadership Abilities: Inspires and guides the design team, cultivating a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, resulting in high-performing teams and exceptional design outcomes.
· Strategic Thinker: Aligns design strategies with brand objectives and market trends, anticipating consumer needs and creating packaging designs that effectively communicate brand values and resonate with target audiences.
· Problem Solver: Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome design challenges, considering technical and production constraints while finding innovative solutions that meet project requirements.
· Excellent Communication: Effectively communicates design concepts and strategies, fostering strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring alignment and successful execution.

· Bachelor's Degree.
· 5-8+ years' experience.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to 139,600. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
