As a Supervisory General Attorney, GS-0905-15, you will be responsible for:

Advising on complex issues under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), and its implementing regulations, to fulfill the mission of vigorous enforcement of civil rights laws.
Serving as a legal and policy advisor to OCR's Senior Leaders.   
Managing, directing, and supervising the activities of employees by providing general and specific policy, legal, procedural, and program guidance to staff.   
Supervising the development or review of policy issuances, legal standards, legal memoranda, guidelines, and proposed and final regulations pertaining to civil rights compliance, the conduct of investigations and compliance reviews, and the provision of technical assistance.  
Managing the development of training materials and manuals on new and emerging policy and legal issues, and conducts trainings.
Overseeing OCR’s Methods of Administration Program, regarding civil rights compliance in career and technical educational programs.
